“Our hearts are with you. We send you love and prayers for peace. Celine xx.” she penned.
The post featured her official monogram and was personally signed by Dion at the end.
Fans were quick to rush to the comments to show their admiration for the star.
“Your voice helps,” wrote one, whilst another added: “Nice one, Celine.”
“Thank you for your voice and support,” remarked another.
It has been a difficult start of the year for the Canadian singer, whose debilitating health crisis left her unable to perform. She had been hoping to come back after the pandemic postponed her tours, but just as soon as she announced the news that her shows were back on, she revealed her ill health make it difficult for her to perform.
Dion was forced to cancel the rest of her tour in mid-January, telling fans: “I was really hoping that I’d be good to go by now, but I suppose I just have to be more patient and follow the regimen that my doctors are prescribing.”
Since then the much-loved star has been quiet on social media, briefly returning only to mark special occasions like her son René-Charles’s 21st birthday and Valentine’s Day.
