About Peter Evans

Peter Evans was born in Melbourne, Victoria before moving to Brisbane, Queensland in the late 1960s. Here he met his wife and started his own family with a son. Peter had a range of job experiences during the 1980s including being a milkman, petrol station attendant, and a liquorice maker before returning to university to gain his teaching degree. He taught students in primary schools for 27 years. In his spare time, Peter enjoys writing children’s books and nostalgia articles, working on projects in the garden and tinkering with computers and musical instruments.
