While the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex regularly make headlines for their stunning fashion displays, Camilla has upped the fashion ante on a recent day out in London.
The Duchess of Cornwall joined husband Prince Charles for a day of fun on the water. While London’s sun didn’t shine, Camilla certainly did as she took to the newly refurbished ‘Maiden’ yacht on the iconic River Thames. The yacht was actually used by the first all-female crew to sail in the Whitbread Round the World Race in 1990.
The 71-year-old opted for a stunning nautical ensemble for her day on the water. Looking as glamorous as ever, Camilla wowed in a navy-blue and white dress. Complete with long white sleeves and an eye-catching knee-length blue skirt, it was the perfect ensemble.
Of course, the royal knew how to compliment the look with the perfect accessories.

She wore a cute pair of brown shoes and was spotted in an incredible pearl necklace that included a striking broach clasp. In addition to a matching pair of pearl earrings. As always, Camilla’s make-up was on point and she wore her hair in her trademark style.

During the visit, both Camilla and Prince Charles were joined by Princess Haya bint Hussein of Jordan. She dressed to impress in a gorgeous black and white frock.
“The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall join @hrhprincesshaya on a visit to the refurbished ‘Maiden’ yacht,” Clarence House said in a Twitter post. “In 1990, the yacht was famously sailed by the first all-female crew to sail the Whitbread Round the World Race, finishing second.”

Throughout the day, Camilla and Charles met several people who shared an important history with the yacht. This included Tracy Edwards, who was the original skipper of the yacht in 1989, as well as new skippers Wendy Tuck and Nikki Henderson. The pair will taken Maiden on its three-year voyage around the world in support of the Maiden Factor and additional six partner charities.

And, while Camilla often wows with her outfit choices, eBay’s annual Retail Report recently found it was Prince William’s wife Catherine that was the biggest royal fashion icon. Her outfit choices beat those of the Queen, Camilla and even Meghan, with the report showing she had the biggest impact on the UK’s shopping habits over the past year.
