There’s nothing better than a dense, chocolatey brownie – but this particular recipe might just top every other version thanks to the addition of Nutella. Plus, with just five ingredients, these more-ish morsels take very little time to make.
Serve it up warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and you will truly be in dessert heaven.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (70g) hazelnuts
- 2 cups (660g) Nutella
- 4 eggs, lightly whisked
- 1 cup (150g) self-raising flour
- 200g dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
Method
- Preheat oven to 180C. Grease and line the base and sides of a 20cm square cake pan. Place the hazelnuts on a baking tray. Bake for 10 mins or until just toasted. Place in a clean tea towel and gently rub to remove skins. Coarsely chop.
- Combine the Nutella and egg in a large bowl. Add the flour and gently fold to combine. Add the hazelnut and chocolate and stir to combine. Spoon into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.
- Bake for 40-45 mins or until firm to touch. Set aside in the pan to cool completely. Cut into pieces.
