An employer was having a meeting with his workers about how they were abusing their sick-leave.
To prove his point, the employer held up the morning edition of the newspaper with a photo of one of the workers on the front page holding a trophy from his win at a local golf tournament with an almost perfect score.
“This man,” he announced, “called in sick yesterday!”
There was a moment of silence in the room before a worker up the back piped up.
“Wow,” he said. “Think of the score he could have had if he hadn’t been sick!”
