Daily Joke: I need a raise

I recently went into my boss and told her, “Three companies are after me. I need a raise if you want me to stay in my job.”

We haggled for a bit, then she gave me a 5 per cent raise.

As I was leaving her office, she said, “Out of curiosity, can you tell me what three companies were interested in you?”

“Sure,” I responded. “The electricity, the mobile phone and the utilities companies.”
