Gorgeous in green! Melania Trump makes a statement in bold floral heels

Melania Trump looked elegant and classy in a stunning green frock as she attended a National Day of Prayer service with her husband President Donald Trump this week.

The First Lady glowed in the long emerald green dress which flowed gracefully past her knees as she walked hand in hand with Donald, 72, to the event in the rose garden on Thursday.

Standing tall in pale floral patterned heels, the 49-year-old opted for a thin black belt around her waist to show off her figure while she kept her gorgeous locks down in a slightly waved hairdo.

The couple joined crowds in the beautiful area to celebrate the many different faiths followed in the United States. The day, which is held annually on the first Thursday of May, is seen as an opportunity for all to come together and pray in their own way.

Melania took to social media to share snaps from the day showing a group of people congregated in the pretty garden as she addressed the crowd.

“@POTUS and I welcomed many influencers of faith in observance and celebration of the #NationalDayofPrayer to the @WhiteHouse today,” she wrote on Twitter alongside the series of photographs.

“God bless this great nation where we cherished the freedom of religion.”

Melania and her husband also welcomed guests into their residence in Washington D.C for further celebrations the night prior. The mother-of-one chose a gorgeous white lace dress for the dinner event which brought together leaders of many faiths.

In a post shared on Twitter the First Lady wrote: “It was an honour to host so many wonderful faith leaders who joined us for dinner at the @WhiteHouse in celebration of tomorrow’s National Day of Prayer.”

She also published a number of images from the evening event of her mingling with attendees in the lavish room as they enjoyed a delicious meal.

The special events came only days after Melania celebrated her 49th birthday at a dinner with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his wife Akie Abe at the White House.

Showing off her stunning figure, the mother opted for a tight white lace dress that finished just below the knee with a sheer panel of floral detailing. She coupled the killer outfit with some sky-high scarlet red stilettos and wore her hair loose and wavy in her signature style.

She co-ordinated perfectly with her husband Donald, who opted for a bright red tie with his suit. They stood for official photos outside the main doors alongside the Japanese politicians, before heading inside for the relaxed evening.
