Carrie Bickmore shows off killer red carpet style in striking pantsuit

Less than three months after giving birth, television presenter Carrie Bickmore has hit the red carpet in one seriously cool outfit.

The Project host gave birth to her third child, daughter Adelaide, in December last year. And on Monday, Carrie showed off her incredible post-pregnancy figure in a striking pantsuit as she sat front and centre at the Melbourne Fashion Festival David Jones show.

The host looked sensational in an oversized black-and-white check suit jacket and matching trousers, ensuring she fitted right in with the fashionable crowd. She finished off the look with a simple pair of black heels, and accessorised with statement pink earrings, which added a pop of colour to the stylish ensemble.

The television presenter has been taking a break from The Project since giving birth, but has returned to her afternoon radio program with Tommy Little.

Newborn Adelaide is a little sister to 10-year-old Oliver and Evie, three. Carrie gave birth to her eldest son Oliver in 2007 with her husband Greg Lange, who tragically lost his life to brain cancer in December 2010. The TV presenter had Evie with Chris in 2015.

Carrie has not held back when detailing the tricky moments involved in raising a child, especially with other children to look after. In a post shared on social media last month, the host spoke out about the joys of raising little Adelaide. However, she also took the opportunity to discuss the struggles faced and support she has received from family and friends.

“I think it’s fair to say the past 9 weeks have been some of the trickiest of our parenting life. Reflux, feeding challenges, little people dealing with the new world order, school holidays, did I mention school holidays, sleep deprivation, the list goes on but we are getting there,” she wrote.

The journalist went on to say how grateful she is for her beloved family who have supported her through the tough couple of months, noting it doesn’t get easier the third time around. She also praised other parents going through the journey and encouraged them too to make the most of the beautiful moments.

“Dad’s been amazing, kids have been incredible, and mum’s been a bloody rockstar,” she wrote. “Who said the third child was easiest!

“Thankyou [sic] to all the people who reached out on insta [sic] and reminded me to stop and sniff her little head, stare into her eyes, cuddle her and enjoy the middle of the night feeds because it goes so fast. It really does. If you are in the middle of it all yourself, you are not alone.”
