Fans were quick to congratulate the TV star, with one writing: “Aww. Congrats! How precious! Love the name!”

Another added: “Congratulations on your new baby. And a third wrote: “Congratulations! She’s perfect.”

Newborn Adelaide will be a little sister to ten-year-old Oliver and Evie, three.

Carrie gave birth to her eldest son Oliver in 2007 with her husband Greg Lange, who tragically lost his life to brain cancer in December 2010. The TV presenter had Evie with Chris in 2015.

They announced their second pregnancy together in June via an Instagram video featuring Evie and Oliver.

“Hey some exciting news to share with you. We are having a BABY. How funny is Evie asking if it’s twins. No honey it’s not twins!” The video was captioned.

It comes after she broke down in tears live on her radio show as she admitted her fears that her unborn baby will impact the bond her first son currently shares with his younger sister once they’re born.

Appearing on her Hit Network radio show Carrie and Tommy, Carrie described how close her son Ollie and daughter Evie have become.

Struggling to contain her emotions, she was filmed on camera wiping at her eyes as she broke down in front of her co-host, admitting she’s concerned a third baby could disrupt their happy partnership.

“I’m very excited about my expanding family,” she said on air, in a clip shared on the radio show’s official Instagram page. “Ollie thinks we’re having a boy and Evie thinks we’re having a girl so one of them is going to be very disappointed and one very excited.”
