Sheree da Costa

Sheree da Costa is an ex-Principal dancer with The Australian Ballet and former artist with the Sydney Dance Company. She is also an experienced actress and singer (under name of Sheree Zellner) with credits in TV, film and theatre. Sheree is very much looking forward to re-joining the Sydney Dance Co as a guest former alumni in November 2019 for their 50th Anniversary season, Season 2. Sheree was assistant choreographer on Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge with Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. Short film credits include multi award-winning The Skydiver and The Scarecrow directed by Ren Thackham, The Hemingway Shot for EP Flicks, House Guests for Tori Savage, Dave and Theo for Granny Flat Pictures and Aussie Of The Year for Pepperdine University USA. Stage work includes critically-acclaimed play One Way Mirror, by Paul Gillespie for Subtlenuance Theatre. Sheree is also a published author, co-writing Taking The Drop with three of her girlfriends, an inspirational book based on taking up the sport of surfing in middle age.
