Roz lives in Brisbane. She grew up in Tasmania.
She has had some amazing adventures, climbing Mt Killimanjaro and Mt Kenya in Africa, trekking the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal, walking the length of Hinchinbrook Island and hiking the Routeburn track in New Zealand. Then her life got busy with a child, full-time work and study, and her adventures stopped.
She retired in 2016 and since then has been getting back into bushwalking and kayaking. Roz has always loved writing. She mostly writes non-fiction articles about bushwalking, kayaking, wildlife and nature, travel, history and health. Roz has a masters and doctorate in public health and a nursing degree.
