Rose O'Brien

Rose O'Brien

Rose O’Brien is a Brisbane-based grandmother, teacher, columnist and researcher. She writes about family, travel, and the funny, ironic, stressful and beautiful aspects of being a post-War child and twenty-first century grandparent. Family life touches us in many ways, and as grand-parenting columnist for Sydney’s, Melbourne’s and Brisbane’s Child magazines Rose covered most of them. In her popular 2013 book, “Now I’m 64: a grandma in the new millennium”, she brought these columns together into an amusing memoir, available in print and e-book form, on-line and through bookshops and libraries.
