About Professor Stephen Worthley

Professor Stephen Worthley completed a Ph.D. at the Mount Sinai Medical Centre in New York, USA, along with post-doctoral research and an interventional fellowship at the Monash Medical Centre, Melbourne. Prof Worthley worked as an Interventional and Structural Cardiologist located in South Australia, at the Royal Adelaide Hospital until 2017. He has since commenced a new position as Executive Manager – Cardiology, GenesisCare in Sydney. As Executive Manager, Prof Worthley will lead the network of over 80 Cardiologists and six practices located in all mainland states of Australia. The new role will enable him (with his passion and exceptional leadership capabilities) to help shape and direct the future of healthcare.
