Peter Keogh

Peter Keogh was born in 1944 to a farming couple in country Western Australia and discovered he was gay at very early age. He suffered abuse in his early life, struggled to come to terms with his sexuality, held different jobs, travelled widely, was heavily involved with the theatre. He lived in America for a short time where became close friends with the late film legend Debbie Reynolds.Peter met his partner Sacha Mahboub almost 30 years ago and was thrilled to be able to finally legally marry him on 31st March 2018. Peter and Sacha both still work at The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre and although Peter and Sacha are in their 70s they are both very active members of their community.
