Margie Riley

Margie Riley

Margie’s been a bibliophile for as long as she can remember and is learning that writing is a complicated game. She belongs to a book club —doesn’t everybody?—and a writers' group. She’s been married (to the same man) for over 40 years, has a dog, three chooks and lives in SE Queensland in a semi-rural piece of heaven. Margie's work has been published and she uses her status as an elder (don’t call her an old age pensioner or senior citizen please) to justify her gentle wielding of her editor’s red pen. In her spare time she works as a support person, and has a part-time admin job with an advocacy group. Who said we have to stop once we reach retirement age?
