Facing the reality of ageing alone
When I wanted my hair cut like Jamie Lee Curtis or Judi Dench, it turned out like…
Remembering Christmas by the beach
The reality of ageing alone
Making people laugh: Agro, attitude and intolerance
Social Networking: Twitbook or Faceter
Life, the universe and birthdays

About Margaret Rose Stringer

Margaret Rose Stringer was born in Perth in 1943, moved to Melbourne in 1965 and and returned to her home town in 1974. It was there she met her lifetime partner, stills photographer Charles ‘Chic’ Stringer, whom she married in 1978. Chic died in 2006. M.R., as she is known, worked in film, television and video production, alternating between freelancing and being employed by organisations such as the ABC, Film Australia, TCN9 and the AFTVS. She has lived in Sydney for 35 years. Her first book is a memoir called "And then like my dreams", in which she writes with acuity about her life with Chic. She is currently working on her second, "Life with a capital L", which will without doubt display once more her unmatched ability to make her experiences accessible to others. M.R blogs (currently) at margaretrosestringer.wordpress.com, and her book is available for purchase from all major outlets (bookstores and online).
