John O'Brien-Hall

John O’Brien-Hall is affectionately known by his friends as Mr No Wukkin Furries. Unlike his partner in life Karen, he is usually unflappable. He loves movies and can speak the lines of some films in chorus with the actors. After a long career in menswear, he is almost retired. For many years he was involved in amateur theatre where he was frequently asked by directors to stage manage, or to design and operate the sound for their plays. John went to school in Toowoomba, and returned to Queensland some years back – it is now definitely home.
