Over 30 years ago Euan was leading a tour through the most scenic part of the Bavarian Alps only to discover the whole coach group were fast asleep. Too many one night stops, long days on motorways and early starts had taken their toll. Knowing there was a much better way of touring Europe he launched Albatross Tours, with their trademark longer stays, less time trapped on a coach and more included sightseeing, experiences and genuine highlights. Back then, no one did festive Christmas tours so he saw that as a great place to start. Over 20 years later, Albatross are clear market leaders with a range of 25 different Christmas and New Year tours, and now his highly successful ‘friendly’ touring formula has also established an innovative, very different, range of European Summer tours.
