As the CEO of aged care consultancy My CarePath, Dana Sawyer has been an advocate for than 5,000 families as they navigate the aged care system. She passionately believes that everyone should have a real choice in aged care.

Dana started her business more than a decade ago after she helped her own mother gain admittance to aged care – a process she looks back on as a “disaster”. She knew there had to be a way to make the process easier for families and to give older Australians greater options when accessing aged care, and soon after, My CarePath was born.

Dana holds qualifications in accounting, business and psychology and has three grown-up children. So does her husband, making them a modern Brady Brunch! In her spare time, she’s a member of a Surf Life Saving Club and loves ocean swims.
