Cate Blanchett is one of Hollywood’s greatest actresses but this Australian also has a heart and knows how to have fun.
Taking part in a one-night-only charity event at the historic Stonewall Inn in New York City, Cate got glammed up with local drag queens to perform lip syncs of Dusty Springfield’s “You Don’t Own Me,” and Adele’s “Hello.”

The event was to support gun violence prevention and Cate’s performance has helped the cause go viral on the web.

It looks like Cate had a lot of fun doing it, almost as much fun as it is to watch.
