Cracked heels aren’t just uncomfortable, they can be painful too if the crack is deep. Walking with cracked feet can be a challenge and sometimes harsh weather conditions like dry air in winters can make things worse.
There are plenty of home remedies to heal cracked feet and to make them smoother but let’s start with this DIY Turmeric-Coconut Oil.
3 tbsp turmeric powder
A few drops of coconut oil
1. Mix turmeric powder with coconut oil to make a thick paste.
2. Apply this to your cracked feet.
3. Leave it for 20-30 minutes. Fill in the cracks properly and also apply it in between the toes.
4. Wash off with warm water and a mild soap.
Note: Avoid walking or placing your turmeric ridden feet without wrapping your feet with bandage or cloth or even wearing a pair of socks so you don’t stain anything else. Your feet will also get a yellow tint when you apply turmeric. This will go in a few days after you stop using turmeric.
