While it hasn’t been a great day for Donald Trump, it hasn’t been that great for Hillary Clinton either. Donald has tried a lot of things to distance himself from the controversy he has found himself in today only to finally have to bite the bullet and make a full, and read from a teleprompter, apology which is something that he hasn’t done for any of his other controversies.

WikiLeaks have also made sure that Hillary doesn’t have much time to gloat about her opponent’s failures as they released a new batch of emails that Hillary would rather not have come out. Among the leaks were transcripts of the speeches that she gave to Wall Street that she had vowed not to release.

The leaked documents show that Hillary told bankers that she “open trade and open borders” which in essence goes against some of the things that she has said during the campaign.

While it’s hard to know whether or not the leaked materials are 100 percent real it is known that Hillary and her party have named Russia as the people responsible for the hacks. In a statement released from her, campaign Hillary says that the Russians are trying to “sabotage” the election. Hillary tweeted with the statement, “It should concern every American that Russia is willing to engage in such hostile acts in order to help Donald Trump become president.”

Combined with Donald’s allegations that what he talked about was sexual abuse he never actually did it and that Hillary’s husband, Bill Clinton did sexual abuse women. Donald also claims that Hillary bullied and abused the same women into not taking legal matters against her husband.

It’s starting to feel less like an election and more like an episode of House of Cards. While it might feel that way, what all this controversy does do is make the second debate this Sunday must see TV!

What do you make of the controversies? Is either of them fit to be President of the United States?

  1. Doesn’t really matter who “wins” the presidential race. They are both as bad as one another, and at the end of the day it’s “”the corporations” that run America not the whit house.

  2. I am more concerned with what Clinton has DONE, than what Trump has SAID!

    • You must remember the source of the claims against Clinton is a man who has locked himself away in a foreign embassy rather than answer to sexual assault charges in Sweden.
I would also be worried about quite a few of the things that Trump has DONE.
To me it seems pretty simple. If you want some sort of peace you vote Clinton. If you want all out war you vote Trump.
If you want a reasonable financial outcome you vote Clinton because how could you trust the largest economy in the world to a three time bankrupt.

      • If you want to hand your country over to the Muslim Brotherhood and have open borders to all and sundry while half of taxpayers’ money goes straight into the Clinton Foundation, by all means vote for Hillary (Killary)! Remember Benghazi!

  4. Hillary Clinton can least afford to talk about Donald Trump’s indiscretions when she has shielded her husband with the abuse he gave women. It would not surprise me that Hillary Clinton did abuse the women her Bill was implicated with to further her own ambitions. Some of the things Hillary has done are a appalling such as a Lawyer overcharging people, Bengazi as secretary of State, Chinagate which is removing china from the white house, shielding Bill from the women he has had affairs with, e-mail security and the list goes on and on. Hillary does nothing for women. As a woman myself I have very little respect for a lot of women I have come across and Hillary fits in to the mould.

  5. As the world watches and listened to what both candidates have done and did in their past. Their scandals and their negativity, we await the Americans to put in their vote and juggling in deciding who is the better evil.

Trump or Hillary, neither is a saint. It is about what next and their manifesto on how “” they can talk d talk… Being really able to walk d walk” for best interest of America and its choice of president who will path its economy, security, and ensuring safer and better life for all moving forward … All this indirectly effect the Global stage.

  6. The only comment I can really make is the US elections are as farsical as the last federal election held here in Australia, and that comment is ”There a bloody joke ”
