When it comes to Australia, there’s so much to see and do. From the tropical top end to the cozy cabins in Tasmania and everything in between, Australians are never short of an adventure or two. Broome
Long hailed for its stunning beaches and incredible scenery, Broome is a hot favourite for many Aussie travellers. You’ll find exquisite sunsets, deserted beaches, communal camel rides and tiny rock pools. The summer is rainy and humid thanks to the wet season so head their between April and October to enjoy the best weather on offer. Relax at Cable Beach and enjoy a meal by the water with some of the best views the country has to offer .
Tasmania
Tasmania has so much to offer visitors, so it’s no wonder it’s such a go-to for travellers. From the historic rain forests to world heritage-listed sites, amazing food and wineries, music festivals, and adventurous activities, Tasmania will not let you go home without have a good time. You can get there by plane or take your car over on the ferry drive your way around the small state for a couple of weeks.
Western Australia
There are so many different sides to Western Australia, you might need to go back a couple of times just to tick everything off the list! Head north for the Kimberly with breathtaking outback scenery, or take it easy down south at the vineyards in Margaret River. Don’t forget about Perth, which sits on the banks of the sparkling Swan River and has an excellent food and market scene.
North Queensland
Sunny Queensland is always a good idea, but it’s up north that things really get special. The Great Barrier Reef is a must-do, while inland it’s the World Heritage-listed Daintree rain forest and the Atherton Tableland. If you have the time, hitch up a caravan and drive up to Cape York to see the most northern point on the Australian continent.
Melbourne
This one came as a surprise to some, but it turns out thousands of Aussies are hoping to make a trip to Melbourne to soak up all the cultural diversity the city has to offer. It’s known for it’s amazing restaurant and food scene, along with the festivals, theatre, sport, and wineries that have made the city famous around the world. Take a day trip out of the city and drive along the Great Ocean Road to really take in all that this amazing region has to offer.
