Little Jack Russell rescue dog steals the show at Crufts

Little Olly putting on a show at Crufts.

The Crufts dog show is one of the most prestigious events in the British calendar, with contestants from around the world lining up to show off their prized pooches.

While the competing dogs are usually highly trained, professionals with exceptional breeding, one little rescue has proved you don’t need pedigree to win hearts.

Rescue dog Olly stole the show at Crufts at the weekend as he competed in the Rescue Dog Agility round and got way too excited to maintain any semblance of concentration.

The 10-week-old Jack Russell Terrier had commentators in stitches as he raced wildly around the track, ignoring his trainer and zig-zagging through the obstacles.

While he didn’t win any prizes for his performance, he certainly won hearts!

Take a look at Olly’s performance and tell us if he put a smile on your face!

Are you a fan of little Olly? Do you watch Crufts every year?
