Meryl Streep lists lavish multi-million mansion at $33.5M

Hollywood star Meryl Streep is ready to rank in the big bucks after listing her multi-million dollar mansion for a mind blowing amount.

There is no denying the actress is living in lavish style with her ever growing success on the big screens but now the 69-year-old is preparing to add more cash to her bank account with a price tag of US $24.6m (AU $33.5m) for her Manhattan property.

Proving she has an eye for real estate, the blonde beauty has managed to grow the four bedroom home’s value from a still staggering $10.13m when she purchased the property back in 2006, the Daily Mail reports.

Pictures shared by Douglas Elliman Real Estate, responsible for the sale, reveal the penthouse is unlike a normal family home many would picture, featuring a private elevator, a doorman, a concierge and its own fitness centre. 

It shouldn’t be all that shocking really as Streep has landed herself a flurry of impressive roles over the years but when even the second bedroom has its own en-suite bath, it’s something to be jealous of.

With panoramic views of the bustling city the penthouse also displays top-of-the-range stainless steel appliances, a wood fireplace and walls of triple glazed windows surrounding the living and dining rooms.

It is surprising why the actress wants to part with the spectacular masterpiece but have no fear, Meryl’s primary residence with her husband Don Gummer lies in Connecticut with another $3.6m home also in California.

Not slowing down any time soon, the Oscar award winning actress is still shining with beauty, stepping out on the Blue Carpet for the premiere of the Mamma Mia sequel recently.

Looking as glamorous as ever, Meryl posed happily for photos in a stunning blue frock.

The flowy mid-length number fell elegantly at the actress’s sides, fitted in at the waist wit a thick black and silver belt.

Going with a specific colour scheme, the Hollywood star paired the outfit with small black heels, large silver hoop earrings and black sunglasses, which she took off during the event.
