Keith Urban embarrasses wife Nicole Kidman with sweet comment during Arias

There is no doubt Aussie singer Keith Urban and his gorgeous actress wife Nicole Kidman are one of the most loved up couple’s on the scene.

The pair are constantly seen showing their affection towards one another in the most beautiful ways.

However, Keith’s latest comment during his speech at the 2018 Aria’s left Nicole a little embarrassed.

The 51-year-old, who was this year’s hot of the music awards in Sydney, did not shy away when acknowledging the Aussie beauty who sat watching in the front row.

When first opening the awards, the ‘Somebody Like You’ singer made a point of singling out Nicole in the crowd.

“Hi everyone, hi Australia,” Keith said. “Hi baby, right in the front row — hi!”

It didn’t stop there with the country music star later paying mention to his wife in the sweetest way when introducing singer Troye Sivan, who also stars in the film Boy Erased.

“Alongside a very talented, up-and-coming new actress called Nicole Kidman,” Keith said of his wife who sat giggling and shaking her head.

He added: “I think good things are ahead for her.”

This wasn’t the only time Keith made the crowd laugh and cheer. During his opening speech on the night the CMT Music Awards winner made a cheeky joke.

“The trophies are very sharp. Very, very, very sharp,” he exclaimed. “Now, I’m not necessarily saying they’re the biggest pricks in the room, but they’re damn close.

He went on to say: “‘Try and keep your speeches short. Good luck on that.

‘The producers do have music and they will absolutely play your airs off if you prattle on and on.”

Prior to the awards, Nicole and Keith put on a cosy display as they posed for the cameras ahead of the event.

The Big Little Lies star looked beautiful on the night, in a pale cream ensemble which included a feathered top and satin trousers. Paired with silver heels, the 51-year-old looked picture perfect for the event, with her blonde locks pulled back in a low pony.

Meanwhile, Keith, kept it relatively casual in a grey tee matched with a black sports jacket and black jeans.

Nicole took to Instagram to share her excitement prior to the event, uploading a photo of herself and her beautiful niece. She wrote: “Going to the #ARIAs with my niece, we’re so excited to see Keith hosting!”
