Carrie Bickmore, 37, pregnant with third child

The Project host Carrie Bickmore is full of joy after announcing she is pregnant with her third child in an adorable post on Instagram on Thursday morning.

The 37-year-old shared the exciting news with fans in a video with partner Chris Walker, three-year-old daughter Evie and 11-year-old son Oliver.

“Hey some exciting news to share with you. We are having a BABY. How funny is Evie asking if it’s twins. No honey it’s not twins!!” she wrote.

The super cute video begins with Carrie and her son telling Evie that mummy is having a baby.

“There is a baby in mummy’s tummy growing now,” Carrie says.

“Is it a girl or a boy? Have you got twins?” Evie squeals as she jumps up and down in excitement.

The family then burst into laughter with Carrie explaining that no, there is only one baby on the way.

The popular television reporter is a favourite on the nightly news show, however, it’s her passion for helping others that really pulls on the heart strings.

Sadly Carrie’s first husband Greg Lange – father of Oliver – passed away to brain cancer in 2010 after a 10-year battle.

Since then the blonde beauty has made it her mission to raise awareness of the disease, and over  the past three years has run the campaign Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer.

Each beanie sold raises money for research into brain cancer, with the hope of saving the lives of many suffering through the horrible disease.

This year the campaign reached a whopping $6m, boosting the overall total over $10m.

“We just cracked $6 million for this year’s 2018 campaign which means you have helped us raise more than $10.6 million in total since our little foundation started 3 years ago,” Carrie wrote in an Instagram post earlier this year.

“It’s so exciting seeing what our grant recipients are working on and the breakthroughs they are making in the fight against brain cancer. We can’t wait to see what the government’s 100 million dollar brain cancer mission can achieve over the next 10 years and we are proud to be contributing 5 million of our fundraising dollars to this fund. Collaboration is key.

“Thanks to everyone for their support. So great seeing all the beanies around.”
