What pisses me off… asterisks

Want to know what really p*sses me off today? It’s Sunday the 28th July and what gives me the shits and I say ‘shits’ for a reason… here it is.

Why, tell me why do we have to use asterisks to replace letters in ‘swear’ words?

We all know what it is so is there really any point in the *….* format?

You can tell I don’t use it because I really had to look at the keyboard carefully in order to use it just now.

I have a friend on Facebook who… well, no longer is a friend… consistently uses *….* after every post. For example, *smile*, or ‘*grin*.

And as for people calling their dogs *S…tzu*, or whatever it is, please, please, desist immediately!

It is almost as bad as unnecessary or missing apostrophes… and yes, before you comment, I did read the Stephen Fry article about such things, saying that they don’t matter!

It is just that they give me the shits! Ok?
