Morning Show host Karl Stefanovic has taken a fresh jab at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for their most recent royal family snub.

The ex-royal couple will travel to the Netherlands to attend the Invictus Games, however, it has been announced they will not visit the Queen on their journey.

In the recent morning show segment, Stefanovic and co-host Allison Langdon spoke to The Daily Mirror’s royal editor, Russell Myers, about the couple’s upcoming trip, marking their first trip to Europe since stepping back as senior members of the Royal family.

Myers revealed the couple had stated ‘safety concerns’ as the basis for their decision not to visit the UK, despite the Netherlands being just an hour from London.

“He skipped Prince Philip’s memorial. The rest of the Royal Family were there. There were royals from all over Europe and still Harry and Megan couldn’t be bothered to turn up,” Myers said.

“It’s frankly ridiculous.”

Langdon admitted it was “getting harder and harder to defend” the couple as they continued their long-run of questionable decisions.

“I can’t even look at them,” Stefanovic chimed in, causing him and Myers to chuckle at the comment.

“And you used to love Harry,” Langdon said to Stefanovic.

“Yeah, I was even partial to Meghan back in the day,” replied Stefanovic.

Stefanovic went on to refer to Meghan’s time on the popular TV series Suits, admitting he used to like the actor turned royal.

“It’s for four or five [years ago now], maybe the first season of suits,” he joked, “then it was all downhill from there”.

Prince Harry and Meghan recently caused outrage among royal fans after the couple decided not to attend Prince Phillip’s private memorial at Westminster Abbey on March 29, again stating security concerns.

The couple’s not-so-subtle snubs at the expense of the Royal family have been of public discussion for some time now as Prince Harry and Meghan continue to defy royal expectations.
