Princess Eugenie shares adorable throwback photo of younger self in wedding dress

While Princess Eugenie married her beloved partner in a lavish ceremony last year it seems the royal had dreamed about her special day for quite some time.

The 28-year-old, who exchanged vows with Jack Brooksbank in October, took to social media this week to share an adorable snap of her younger self dressed up in a beautiful outfit alongside a stunning photo from her wedding. She simply captioned the post: “Same same but different”.

The beautiful picture from her childhood, shows the young royal looking incredibly cute in a white, long-sleeved gown which appears quite similar to the one she wore last year.

Eugenie is also shown holding a bunch of white flowers which again resemble those used in her wedding which was watched by thousands across the globe months ago.

The post received a plethora of comments from fans who complimented the royal on her beautiful looks and personality.

“Like her mother, both have great natural, bubbly way about them,” one person commented.

“I love this adorable throwback photo,” another wrote.

While a third said: “You look gorgeous!”

Although months have passed since Eugenie’s wedding, the royal has spent some time of late reminiscing on her special day.

Just weeks ago Prince Andrew’s daughter visited Windsor Castle to view the royal wedding exhibition.

The 28-year-old was seen smiling as she viewed the display, which features her stunning Peter Pilotto wedding dress.

“Last night Princess Eugenie visited Windsor Castle to see the installation of HRH’s & Jack Brooksbank’s wedding outfits,” a post shared on The Royal Family Instagram account read.

The exhibition, which runs for seven weeks, will not only allow royal fans to get a good look at Eugenie’s off-the-shoulder gown, as the stunning Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara will also be displayed. One of the Queen’s personal tiaras, the stunning headpiece is made of diamond, emerald and platinum and features a large emerald stone in the centre.

Mr Brooksbank’s wedding outfit, which comprised of a black and grey morning suit with a vivid blue waistcoat, made by tailors at Huntsman on Savile Row, will also be shown.

There will even be a special recording from Eugenie herself which has been created for visitors of the exhibition.
