It’s been months since we’ve seen the Duchess of York out and about looking glamorous, but Sarah Ferguson pulled out all the stops on Tuesday as she attended a swanky awards bash – albeit a virtual one. Sarah, who was married to the Queen’s son Prince Andrew from 1986 to 1996, dressed to impress yesterday as she donned a stunning red floor-length gown.

The show stopping gown flattered Fergie’s figure perfectly as it cinched her in at the waist, before falling to the floor in a slim skirt. And the duchess completed the jaw-dropping look by wearing her red locks down straight, with her fringe lightly brushed to one side.

The 61-year-old shared a photograph of her sophisticated ensemble to Instagram, alongside the caption: “I’m honoured to be presenting an award @the_bhf Heart Hero Awards tonight. The special event is in celebration of some brilliant and inspirational heart heroes. It’s set to be an evening to remember.”

Sarah is an ambassador for the British Heart Foundation and regularly attends the charity’s events, however, due to Covid-19 restrictions across the United Kingdom, the event was held virtually this year.

The last time we saw Fergie in an ensemble this sophisticated was in March when she graced the pages of Australian Women’s Weekly magazine. She dolled up for the special occasion and looked the picture of elegance and grace in a full-length white gown.

Posing side on to the camera, the Duchess of York flashed a gorgeous smile with her red locks pulled back into a half up half down hairstyle. The gown, that fell gracefully to the floor, featured dramatic sleeves.

She revealed in an Instagram post at the time that she’d been interviewed by the top Australian magazine about her children’s books. “Thank you to @julietrieden for interviewing me about my new children’s books which are being published by Australian Publisher @serenitypress. Being able to share these magical children’s books with the world is something that I treasure,” she said.

“Thank you to photographer Peter Brew-Bevan @brewbevanphoto. The April issue of @womensweeklymag is on sale now. Thank you to my sister @janeferguson7, supportive publisher @karenmcdermottpublisher, her PR agency @candicemeiselspr and to my incredible team in the UK.”
