Shut that door, the wait is over, it’s time to fly.

Along with the rest of Australia, Qantas is celebrating the opening of international and national borders and they’re doing it in style by offering the ‘largest-ever’ sale of flight reward seats.

If you have been holding tight to your Frequent Flyer points, now is the time to let go and take advantage of the amazing deals Qantas is offering to get you back into the skies. Yes, it’s opening time and once again you can make the world your oyster as Qantas offers very special, perhaps unrepeatable deals to help you spread your wings and once again experience the rush of travel. This is the biggest single release of reward flights in the airline’s history.

From today, Frequent Flyer program members have the chance to gain up to 50% more of Qantas best-value points seats on international and domestic flights as millions of Classic Flight Reward seats are made available online until the end of 2022.

Qantas said Frequent Flyer members have wasted no time in snapping up flights and have already redeemed more than $2 billion points since the company shared the best travel news Australia has received since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

Aussies have been stockpiling points earned on the ground throughout the pandemic, ready to use once travel restrictions lift, says Qantas Loyalty CEO Olivia Worth.

“We’re excited to help Australians rediscover the joy of flying,” says Wirth.  “With members keen to travel internationally and domestically, we have released more reward seats to make it easier for our frequent flyers to go on holidays and be reunited with family and friends in 2022.”

You could use your points to travel the icy landscapes of Antarctica.

In fact, the demand has been so great, Qantas promises more domestic and international Points Planes, aimed to satisfy Frequent Flyer’s requirements.

More good news comes with the announcement of initial flights to London and Los Angeles hitting the airways in November and subsequent flights to Fiji and Japan to follow later in the year.
