King Charles serving as a pillar of support for Princess Catherine through health crisis

As Princess Catherine continues her battle against cancer, King Charles III has emerged as a pillar of support for his beloved daughter-in-law.

Despite his own battle with cancer, Charles is said to have “been a source of comfort” to Catherine throughout this difficult period.

During a recent interview with Hello Magazine, author Robert Hardman shed light on the Monarch’s concern for Catherine, highlighting the unique bond shared between them.

“I think he wants to make sure as much as he can that if there’s anything he can do, he will do, because for a very fit and healthy young mother, this is a different order of magnitude to someone having to deal with this in their 70s,” Hardman explained.

“I’m sure he’s been a source of comfort for her in the same way she’s probably been a source of comfort for him.

“I think it cannot but have brought them even closer together. He’s always had a huge regard for his daughter-in-law. He thinks she’s just wonderful.

Demonstrating his unwavering dedication to his daughter-in-law’s well-being, King Charles took time to visit Catherine at her hospital bedside, a gesture that speaks volumes about his concern and support

“When people are in hospital, they don’t really want a fuss. But the fact was: the King was there, she was there, and the Queen was there with him as well. And they did go around to check and reassure the Princess,” Hardman said.

“It’s a reminder that the Windsors are mortals like the rest of us. And we have to have great sympathy with the fact that they are undergoing an absolute shock of a lifetime, except they’re having to undergo it with all of us talking about it.”

King Charles III and Princess Catherine have always shared a special bond where he sees her as the daughter he never had and she treats him like a father.

“She calls him often. They’ve forged a special bond.

“Kate is definitely the daughter he never had. Charles may seem stuffy, but he has a good sense of humor, and Kate is great at making him laugh.”
