Judi Dench and Maggie Smith go makeup free at awards show

Best friends Judi Dench and Maggie Smith have paired up once again, this time hitting the Presidential Awards to celebrate charities that contribute to the theatre.

The event was held by the theatrical charity Acting For Others, who put on a fun night with Smith and Dench both pictured laughing and chatting with other guests throughout the evening.

Both women dressed down for the night, but each still looked lovely with Judi choosing a cream overcoat and Maggie opting for a navy cardigan.

They appeared to be sans makeup, showing off their natural beauty and looking as good as ever!

While they’re both starts on stage and screen, Smith was recently forced to shoot down claims she was set to reprise her famed role as Lady Violet Crawley on Downton Abbey.

Remakes of popular television shows have become more common of late, but Smith told the BFI & Radio Times Television Festival in London she felt like it would be “squeezing it dry”.
