For years now the feud between Meghan Markle and the Royal Family has dominated headlines, however, it seems there may be an end in sight to the long-running estrangement with reports indicating that Meghan “wants to make peace with Kate”.
After Meghan stepped away from her royal duties alongside her husband Prince Harry in 2020, any interactions between her and Catherine have been few and far between.
In addition to their estrangement, both Harry and Meghan have made matters worse with a series of public attacks aimed at the Royal Family during various interviews.
While relations continue to appear strained there may be some light at the end of the tunnel with an insider revealing to In Touch that Meghan may be ready to reconcile with Catherine.
“She wants to make peace with Kate. She doesn’t want any bad blood between them,” the source revealed.
“Meghan’s friends say she regrets how things went down and she never meant any harm to Kate.
“Though she must realise she could’ve done things differently.”
Meghan’s potential reconciliation with Catherine comes as recent reports indicate that Prince Harry is growing tired of his life in the US and longs for a return to British soil.
In a recent interview with The Mirror, royal author Tom Quinn explained that Harry has a growing desire to spend more time in the UK.
“Prince Harry wants to spend more time in the UK,” Quinn told the publication.
“After the excitement of moving to the US, the honeymoon period is now over and Harry is beginning to find time hangs heavy for him – he is increasingly nostalgic for much of his old life back in the UK. For all his problems with his family he always loved his military and school friends and he misses them.”
Should Harry and Meghan make amends and return to the royal fold, it would mark the end of the significant changes in royal dynamics that began after Megxit.
