A grandma’s hilariously creative idea caused a stir on the internet after she handmade mini Ouija boards to be given out at her funeral.

Jodie Perryman, who was known for her wild side, died at the age of 81.

The comical handmade Ouija boards were glued into a card that featured the words “Let’s keep in touch!”, alongside a humorous photo of Perryman sticking her tongue out and giving the finger.

Speaking to TodayPerryman’s granddaughter Gracie said laughter rang out at the “firecracker” grandmother’s funeral as people opened their Ouija boards.

“Everyone was dying, laughing. It was hilarious,” she said.

“Because that was so her.”

Gracie said her grandmother had known the end was coming after she decided to let the cancer run its course on the possibility that her body might not cope with undergoing surgery.

However, the “hilarious” grandmother never let her health woes drag her down.

“She loved her family. And she just took care of people around her. She was a great woman,” Gracie said.

People flooded Gracie’s post of her grandmother’s card to offer their condolences on the “legend” who passed.

After Perryman’s handmade cards went viral, people took to the internet to share their own funny memorial moments.

Gracie said she had tried to use the Ouija board to contact her grandmother.

“It’s just paper,” she laughed.

“We tried but to no avail.”
