Nicole Kidman’s kids are usually kept out of the spotlight, but the Aussie actress has treated fans to a rare glimpse of her daughter Sunday Rose to mark her 12th birthday.
On Tuesday, the Moulin Rouge! star celebrated her daughter’s birthday by sharing a sweet photo of the mother-daughter duo on social media. In the picture, proud mother Nicole can be seen embracing her eldest daughter, whose face is covered to protect her privacy.
“Birthday hugs for our darling Sunday,” she captioned the post. “Happy Birthday baby girl.”
Fans were quick to comment on the sweet image, with one writing: “Happy birthday to your beautiful girl.” Another added: “Happy birthday Sunday! You sure are lucky with the coolest parents, Keith and Nicole.” While a third wrote: “You guys are awesome.”
Sunday is Nicole and Keith Urban’s oldest daughter. The celebrity couple, who tied the knot in Sydney in 2006, are also parents to nine-year-old Faith, while the award-winning actress shares two adopted children, Isabella and Connor, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
It comes just a few weeks after the Hollywood couple celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary. Keith marked the special occasion by posting a gorgeous photo of the couple holding hands while jumping in the air on a beach. “Happy Anniversary Baby!!!!!” he captioned the post. “14 years… and I feel like your boyfriend in ALL the right ways!!!!”
Nicole also celebrated the anniversary by sharing an adorable photo of the pair embracing. The actress simply captioned the post “Us”, along with a love heart emoji.
Keith and Nicole are one of Hollywood’s most loved-up couples, regularly sharing their love for one another in interviews, on stage or via social media. Just a few months ago, Nicole opened up about her romance with her husband of 14-years in an interview with Wall Street Journal magazine, confessing that she knew early on in their courtship that he was ‘the one’.
The defining moment came after the crooner took Nicole for a ride on his Harley-Davidson to Woodstock, NY, and then treated her to a romantic picnic in the woods. “I was a goner – I mean, c’mon,” she told WSJ. The pair first met at the annual G’Day USA event in Los Angeles in 2005 and started dating six months later.
