‘I barely recognised her’: The Chase’s Anne Hegerty stuns fans with ‘fantastic’ new look

Anne Hegerty, known for her role as “The Governess” on the hit show The Chase, left fans utterly astonished with her jaw-dropping new look during a recent appearance on The Morning Show.

Hegerty, known for her sharp intellect and encyclopedic knowledge, surprised everyone as she entered the set, appearing almost unrecognisable. Her usual conservative attire was replaced with a stylish blue shirt that caught everyone’s attention. She had also opted for bright lipstick, adding a pop of color to her overall look. Additionally, her hair appeared slightly curled, again deviating from her usual style.

Hegerty couldn’t hide her delight as she acknowledged how much she loved her new look.

“My hair looks rather good at the moment,” she told hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies

“Normally it doesn’t look this good because I haven’t got a nice make-up lady doing it.”

Hegerty wasn’t the only one amazed by her new look, the transformation so dramatic that it sparked a frenzy among viewers and fans, who took to social media to express their amazement.

“Anne looks fantastic in that colour!” one viewer wrote.

“She looks stunning.”

“Anne looks nice.”

“Lovely to see Ann in blue,” commented another.

“Isn’t Anne looking gorgeous! But so are you, & Kylie.”

“Wow I barely recognised her.”

“She looks great out of uniform.”

Hegerty isn’t the only star of The Chase to wow fans with an incredible transformation

Fellow television quiz star Mark “The Beast” Labbett left fans in awe recently after sharing yet another inspiring post regarding his weight loss journey.

Taking to Twitter, Labbett shared that he was picking up his “skinny suit”, suggesting that his current wardrobe is now too big for him.

Labbett revealed that his last “suits were 58 long and 46/34” and his shirts have gone down from “22-inch collar to 18.5.”

Never one to shy from sharing his weight loss journey, the 57-year-old had previously taken to social media to show the extent of his weight loss, posting a shirtless selfie with the caption “down to 52-inch chest from 60. So was 5xl, now 2xl.”

Back in February 2021, Labbett shared a side-by-side shot of himself, which showed off his incredible weight-loss progress.

“Very proud of my progress since following my @mfgoalgettersuk plan,” he captioned the photo at the time.
