There was once a time when people’s sex lives, whether they were famous or not, were kept private and behind closed doors in the bedroom.
However, times they are a changin’ and even loveable host of Dancing with the Stars Grant Denyer has revealed he’s not be as squeaky clean as his TV persona.
The 41-year-old admitted to his 2Day FM co-hosts Ed Kavalee and Ash London on Tuesday morning that he’d made a sex tape with a partner when he was a teenager. What’s more is the tape may still be out there somewhere and Grant isn’t sure who has it.
The father-of-two made the admission during a discussion about a recent sex scandal that has rocked the NRL. Ash wrongly assumed that Grant was “pretty vanilla” in the bedroom and that he hadn’t ever filmed himself having intercourse.
“The term sex tape inferred that you actually had to use the old school tapes, so it required a bit of effort to set up a camera whereas now, phones are on your bedside table,” Grant said.
Unhappy with his answer, Ed continued to push and asked grant if he’d ever made an “intimate tape”.
“There is one out there,” Grant admitted. “I don’t know where it is, I don’t know who’s got it.”
He said the video was filmed in 1994 when he had just turned 18 and that he made it with a girlfriend who was older than he was.
“I didn’t have a camera, I borrowed a Sony Handycam from the media department at high school,” he told his co-stars, much to their amusement.

“What this for the Year 12 end of year video?” Ed joked.
The former Sunrise star told the school he needed to make a short film for his project in order to receive his high school certificate.
“It had a tripod, that’s why I wanted it,” Grant continued. “So I didn’t have to hold it.”
Unluckily for Grant, he can’t remember whether he erased the X-rated footage from the camera before returning it to the school, but told his co-stars and listeners at home that he did watch the tape with his girlfriend at the time.
“It felt naughty,” he said. “It felt a bit spicy and we were comfortable with each other. No one was supposed to know. But I sent the camera back. I don’t know where the tape is. I don’t know who’s got it.”
The former Family Feud host said he only made one sex tape and that before admitting to it on national radio, his current wife Chezzi didn’t know about the tape’s existence.
“What scares me about that being out there is that somewhere, someone’s got it or seen it and I’m worried and it’s been my fear my whole life that it could one day come out and ruin my career,” Grant added. “Don’t get me wrong, I look amazing in it and put in an a-grade performance.”

He confirmed both he and his partner were of legal age and that the sex act was consensual, while his co-stars joked they would hunt the tape down and play it if Grant won a Gold Logie this year.
