Ash Barty offers rare glimpse of ‘precious’ baby Hayden as mum and bub team up for iconic campaign

Fans wasted no time in flooding the comments with affectionate remarks, unanimously declaring baby Hayden’s cuteness.

While promoting the BONDS Baby Search, Barty shared insights into motherhood during an interview on Sunrise, highlighting the joys and challenges.

“It’s cool to see him grow and develop and learn new skills,” the 27-year-old said.

“Sometimes you’re almost thinking this has happened and you realise it is a milestone. Sometimes they happen really quick and you miss them, guilty of that, absolutely.

“You try and get as much as you can in photos or in footage but I much prefer to be there in the present with him, watch him, enjoy it.”

Barty also shared her favourite moments as a parent, discussing the joy of witnessing Hayden’s growing awareness of his surroundings.

“When he wakes up from a sleep or a nap, the smile as soon as he wakes up — and starting to grab and want to be held, that’s incredible, that’s the best thing ever,” she said.

“I love it when he sleeps because sometimes I can get a few things done. But when he wakes up, that smile is magic.”

Acknowledging the challenges of motherhood, especially when Hayden doesn’t sleep, Barty stated, “(Motherhood is) challenging, very challenging, but it’s incredible. It’s everything that I’ve ever wanted to do.”

“I think the challenges that you have each and every day are different but the rewards and the fun so outweigh it,” she shared.

“It’s so much better than anything else I’ve ever done.”
