Embracing your older style

We talk a lot about what older style could look like if brands started to take over 60s more seriously. We’ve dreamed of a time when we could feature pictures of style for over 60s that doesn’t look frumpy or “old” with real, well-styled older people in the photos. We’ve hoped that brands would embrace what we are trying to do here at Starts at 60 and wake up to the fact that 60 year olds are awesome.

And finally, I am pleased to say we’ve found one… a brand that thinks fashion should be sexy, stylish and worn by sixty year olds! Hallelulah!

Blue Illusion have this week launched a marketing campaign that features a stunning over 60 model, styled to look superb in the styles of French icons like Catherine Deneuvre, Edith Piaf and Audrey Tautou. The hair, the flair and feeling have us inspired. The clothes look wearable, practical and comfortable without compromising your need to look great.
