At US$115 million for a top floor penthouse, the residents of newly-built One57 in New York city are being harvested from the large pool of billionaires that live in the city. This is New York’s tallest residential tower, the building standing at 306 m with 75 stories of apartments and condos.
The penthouse is 10,920 sq.ft. or 1012 sq. metres big by anyone’s standards and sits atop a building full of stunning one-floor apartments. The building was designed by Pritzker prize winning architect, Christian De Portzamparc, and now towers 1000ft above the New York skyline.
At the base of the building is the new Park Hyatt New York, which will open to guests on Aug. 12.
The condo owners that live above the hotel in the 90 stories of apartments will be able to order room service or ask the concierge for backstage passes to Lincoln Center at a price, of course. There is also a spa and a stunning hotel pool, where residents swimming laps can listen via underwater speakers to the sound of a playlist curated by Carnegie Hall’s programming team.
Ever wanted to see how the other half live? Well this birds eye view into these beautiful apartments will no doubt impress you.
