Tasty and simple no-bake Caramello slice

The sweet caramel, melted chocolate, tropical coconut and smooth butter makes this yummy slice a total winner!

It is easy to make and only has six ingredients, making it a great option when you suddenly get some unexpected visitors. If you love the taste of caramello bears you will love this delicious slice! It makes a great snack for afternoon and morning tea while also being compact enough to fit in a lunchbox.

Store the slice in an air-tight container in the fridge to protect it from the summer heat and sneak a piece whenever you are feeling peckish!

Ingredients

  • 220g Caramello chocolate
  • 250g packet of plain biscuits – crushed
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 300g condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup coconut
  • 220g plain chocolate

Method

  1. Prepare a baking tray by greasing and lining it with baking paper.
  2. Crush up the biscuits into a fine consistency using a food processor.
  3. Melt together the butter and caramello chocolate in the microwave.
  4. Stir in the condensed milk, coconut and biscuit crumbs until combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared slice tray.
  6. Place the slice in the fridge and start making the topping.
  7. To make the topping, melt the plain chocolate in the microwave and mix until smooth.
  8. Remove the slice from the fridge and evenly spread the chocolate over the top.
  9. Place the slice back in the fridge and leave it to set for two hours. When the slice is completely hardened, cut it up into small squares and serve.
