Ingredients
- 1/2 granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 110g milk chocolate chunks
- 110g dark chocolate chunks
Method
- Place sugars, salt and butter together in a large bowl and whisk well.
- Add in egg and vanilla and continue beating until a thick mixture is formed.
- Sift in flour and baking soda, then fold the mixture using a spatular.
- Fold in chocolate chunks, then chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Once dough is set, scoop spoonfuls out and place on baking sheet, making sure to leave enough space between each cookie so they don’t spread into each other.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Cool completely before eating and enjoy!
