The warmer months are starting to set in and when you have hungry little grandies around, you need to keep them happy! Here are two awesome, incredibly easy to make ice block recipes that are actually pretty healthy! If you’re on babysitting duty make them together for a fun activity and enjoy them a few hours later for an afternoon tea treat.

Coconut ice blocks

  1. 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
  2. 3 tbsp water
  3. 2 cups coconut milk

Melt the sugar in a saucepan filled with the water over a low heat until smooth. Stir in the coconut milk gently and just bring to the boil.

Set aside to cool and pour into an ice block tray. Leave in the freezer for four hours and enjoy!

Strawberry ice blocks

or frozen whole strawberries, thawed
