The little boy said: “Dad, did you go to church when you were little?”

“Yes son, every single Sunday.”

The son answered: “I thought so. Bet it won’t do me any good either”.

Love to laugh?
Live in Brisbane?
Looking for a great night out, filled with laughs that you can really relate to?

You’re invited to the Starts at 60 Comedy Festival this Thursday— a special one-night-only comedy event especially for over-60s.

This fun-filled evening, held at Brisbane’s iconic Sit Down Comedy Club, is the culmination of Starts at 60’s nationwide search for Australia’s Funniest Boomer, with ten finalists flown to Brisbane to compete for the title live on stage.

Hosted by local Breakfast radio legend Terry Hansen and featuring headline comedian Fred Lang, this will be a wonderful evening celebrating the ups and downs of ageing gracefully (sometimes disgracefully), as lived and filtered (sometimes not-so-filtered) through Australia’s finest Grey Comic voices.

When: Thursday 5th September 2024 (doors open 6.00pm, show begins 7.00pm)
Where: Sit Down Comedy Club (The Paddo Tavern, 186 Given Terrace, Paddington, QLD)
