How to double the lifespan of one of your makeup staples

Eyeliner is not only a modern day favourite, but it was likely actually one of the first forms of makeup ever invented. It was first used all the way back in 10,000 BC in Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, although back then it tended to be made from very toxic metals, so thankfully the ingredients have improved.

Eyeliner is an essential item in the makeup kits of many women, and many women favour liquid eyeliner pens (for another little bit of trivia, liquid eyeliner was first created to make Hollywood actress’ eyes look more dramatic onscreen). 

The trouble is, they tend to dry out quite quickly, which isn’t ideal given how expensive beauty products tend to be!

However, there is a clever hack that will help you extend the life of your liquid eyeliner, getting more product and more bang for your buck. 

It’s really simple too!

All you need to do is pull the dry tip from the end of your eyeliner pen, and turn it around and place it back in! The other side is identical, and won’t be dried out. It’s like having a new eyeliner!
