The legendary Diana Ross is not just an entertainer, she’s a pioneer and an inspiration to many of the stars that followed in her wake.
Diana Ernestine Earle Ross, was born and raised in Detroit. She rose to fame as a founding member and lead singer of the vocal group The Supremes, which, became Motown’s most successful act and is to this day America’s most successful vocal group.
The Supremes, also brought African American R&B soul to the mainstream and have influenced so many other artists today.
