Super-simple Milo-rolled biscuits

Bored and eternally opening the fridge or looking for a tasty snack that you can make with the core ingredients you’ve stockpiled in the house? These Milo biscuits will be perfect with that afternoon cup of tea.

I just made them for my family while in Easter 2020’s isolation for Covid-19.  They couldn’t stop hovering once they’d tasted the mixture.

Ingredients

360g butter

1 cup white sugar

2 eggs

6 tablespoons milo

3 cups self raising flour

4 tablespoons Milo (for rolling in before cooking)

1 tablespoon raw sugar

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Add egg, Milo and flour, mixing well.
  4. Roll into balls then roll thoroughly in the milo powder.
  5. Place on lined baking tray and press into a flatter shape.
  6. Sprinkle raw sugar on top of flattened biscuits.
  7. Bake for approximately 10-15 minutes.
