Ann Davis passes away at age 88

Ann_B._Davis_1973The woman we grew to love as the quick witted and entertaining housekeeper, Alice on the Brady Bunch sadly passed away in hospital yesterday at age 88.

Ann B. Davis tragically hit her head when she fell in her home on Saturday and never regained consciousness according to a CNN report.

The dual Emmy award winner touched hearts all around the world as she was the glue that held television’s favourite family together.

She rose to international acting fame for her role on the hilarious America, The Bob Cummings Show. Davis has been acknowledge for her incredible performances with a star on the Hollywood walk of fame.

After her acting career slowed down in the mid-nineties, she devoted herself to the Episcopal Church and spent her days working at the general convention and attending services all around America.

Ann Davis has touched hearts all over the world and became a regular addition to weeknight television in many homes.
